Spanish For Dietitians

Kukulcan is the ideal place for dietitians who have Hispanic patients and want to learn about Mexican culinary traditions and eating habits while developing some conversational proficiency in Spanish.  Working with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, Kukulcan has developed a theme-based program “Mexican Cuisine: Food and Cultural Identity” that will provide participating RD/DTR/student with 60 CPEU’s.

Our immersion Spanish program for Dietitians provides participants with an enriching and fun opportunity to improve whatever Spanish proficiency they might have with “hands on” practice in Mexican cuisine. We take participants out of the classroom into markets and traditional restaurants to experience the flavors and smells of Mexico's culinary traditions.

Kukulcan is accredited by the American Dietetic Association.
