Learn Spanish language for Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement

There is a growing need for Law Enforcement Officers with some level of Spanish language proficiency to work with the growing Hispanic community in the U.S. In response to this Kukulcan is offering a complete Spanish immersion program in Mexican culture and learning the Spanish language for law enforcement professionals and criminal justice students seeking beginning, intermediate, or advanced instruction per inter-agency proficiency standards. Our Spanish language course for law enforcement professionals provides you with the necessary Spanish communicative and cultural tools to be better prepared while conducting investigations, diffusing confrontations or making arrests. We focus on the legal terminology and vocabulary specific to the field and include guided visits to local judicial or law enforcement agencies. Your Spanish immersion in Mexican culture will allow you to experience first hand and better understand the way people of Hispanic descent think about law, order and justice.

It is possible to earn continuing education credits via professional associations such as TCLEOSE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and Standards) as well as Maryland´s PCTC (Police and Correctional Training Commissions), or to earn university credits through recognized universities in criminal justice such as SHSU (Sam Houston State University ).
