Spanish Class Schedule
At Kukulcan new students can begin Spanish language classes on any Monday of the year. We strongly recommend arrival in Cuernavaca the Sunday before Spanish classes start. A verbal and written Spanish placement exam will be given on the first day of classes. The written exam can be done in advance online at http://www.escuelakukulcan.com/ There is no charge for the exam.
The following is a typical class schedule at the Spanish School (30 hours per week). It covers in two to three weeks one of our six Spanish language levels, which we define using the European framework and ACTFL´s proficiency scale. This allows us to match students to the correct class and ensure standardized learning objectives. Please note: Most US universities consider that two to three weeks of immersion Spanish is equivalent to three to five semester or quarter credits at their home institution.
Remember, we can individualize your program to give you the number of hours of instruction you want (ie. 10, 15, 20, 42 hours per week).

Additionally, for extra conversational practice after school at no charge, Kukulcan Language School has established an informal exchange program for our students called "Enlaces Amistosos" (friendly gatherings). Through this program, you can meet people who live in Cuernavaca and practice your Spanish with them. In turn, they can practice your native language (English, French, German, Japanese, etc) with you. Generally these meetings take place in the afternoon and last for about one and one half hour, with 45 minutes devoted to Spanish and 45 minutes to your native language. Let us know in advance if you want to participate in the program, and we will make arrangements for you at no charge.
